Chaplaincy: Interfaith Perspectives
An innovative generic course exploring chaplaincy from an interfaith perspective specifically Christian, Hindu and Muslim
The Chaplaincy course was a great success attracting participants from different faiths and from different parts of England. Karen Openshaw, who was instrumental in designing the course, indicated that the success of the groundbreaking course had the potential to go national with sessions being delivered from places of worship from different faiths with lectures of a high calibre.
The course ran from:
26 March-8 April in University of Bolton, Zakkariya Mosque, URC of St Andrew & St George and Veda Mandir, concluding with a well attended Awards Ceremony was held on Sat 16th April, hosted by the Bishop of Bolton.
